The COVID-19 pandemic continues to present our music community with some of the greatest challenges it has ever faced.
Persistent economic uncertainty, dwindling work opportunities, and limited options for relief have devastated the lives of many working musicians. In response, the Jazz Foundation created the COVID-19 Musicians’ Emergency Fund to provide direct and urgent financial assistance for basic needs like food, rent, and utility bills to jazz and blues musicians and their families, reeling from the impact of the pandemic.
